About Me
Before starting my career as a Driving Instructor in 2018, I had worked within the childcare industry for over 25 years. Despite wanting a career change, I also still wanted to help and support others in a learning environment. To care and support others, as this is what I have always done. I believe the skills I gained from my past career have helped me as well as my pupils when learning to drive. I pride myself on my calmness and patience when teaching and believe that practice makes perfect. Which naturally takes time, so you will not be rushed into a situation where you do not feel comfortable.
In recent years, I have noticed an increase in those who are anxious when driving. This can be related to driving itself or with the practical test. Some of us are just naturally anxious too. Either way, I am able to help and support you in a variety of ways. What I have come to realise is that I too am an anxious person. I also have a very anxious teenager! So, why not put these skills to good use and help and support those who need it.
